Embrace Harmonie

The Harmonie is more than a music venue—it is becoming a creative hub for live music, community, and meaningful work in Augusta. Through Trek Trades, musicians and creatives are hired and given hands-on experience producing concerts while developing tangible skills in audio, lighting, video, marketing, and event production. We are expanding the Harmonie’s creative capabilities through music recording, studio space, weekly podcasts, and filming every show. We also plan to revive the gazebo to create more opportunities for outdoor music and community gatherings. The Verein and Stein Club give supporters a way to become part of the community while helping sustain the Harmonie’s growth. Your support helps us build a place where people can gather, create, learn, work, and experience live music for generations to come.

Embrace Harmonie

Help us build a place where music, people, and meaningful work come together.

The Harmonie is more than a venue. We’re building a home for live music, creative work, community, and the next generation of people who make experiences happen.

Your support helps us preserve and expand The Harmonie while creating new opportunities for musicians, artists, apprentices, filmmakers, and the Augusta community.

A VENUE IS JUST THE BEGINNING

The Harmonie has always been about bringing people together.

Our vision is to create a place where you can hear a concert, record an album, watch a film, learn a trade, meet your neighbors, hear a podcast, or spend an evening in the Rathskeller.

We’re building this piece by piece.

Your support helps us turn that vision into a permanent creative ecosystem in Augusta.

🎻 TREK TRADES
Turning musicians into the people who build the show.

Trek Trades — Reviving human connection thru tangible skills and live experiences.

Trek Trades is The Harmonie's workforce-development program, designed to give musicians and creatives something that can't be learned entirely in a classroom:

hands-on experience.

Through Trek Trades, we hire musicians and teach them the practical skills required to produce live concerts and events.

Apprentices can work across:

Live audio
Lighting
Video production
Stage production
Artist relations
Marketing
Event operations
Filming and photography
Post-production
Festival production

Instead of simply watching a concert, apprentices become part of the crew that makes it happen.

They learn how to load in a stage, run microphones, operate cameras, coordinate artists, solve problems under pressure, tear down after the audience goes home, and work as part of a team.

And importantly, they get paid to do it.

This is about more than job training.

It’s about rebuilding a relationship between people and meaningful work.

Technology is changing the workplace rapidly. But a computer can't carry a speaker, tune a guitar, run a cable, shake an artist's hand, or build trust with a crew.

Trek Trades gives musicians a pathway from performing music → working in music → building a career around live experiences.

Your support helps us hire more apprentices, produce more events, and give more people real-world experience.

🎙️ THE HARMONIE MUSIC STUDIO
A place to make the music—not just hear it.

The Harmonie is already becoming a place where music is created.

We've already recorded music inside the building, and our long-term vision is to develop dedicated studio and rehearsal space that musicians can rent and use year-round.

Imagine an artist coming to Augusta to perform at The Harmonie—and being able to stay in town, rehearse, record, film, and collaborate all under the same roof.

The studio could eventually serve:

Musicians. Bands. Songwriters. Producers. Podcasters. Filmmakers. Students. Touring artists.

It creates another reason for artists to come to Augusta—and another way for local musicians to develop their craft.

The goal isn't simply to build a recording room.

It's to create a working creative space connected directly to a live venue.

An artist can rehearse here.

Record here.

Film here.

Perform here.

And then return six months later with something new.

Your support helps us continue developing the infrastructure that makes that possible.

🎥 EVERY SHOW, PRESERVED
The concert shouldn't disappear when the lights come on.

One of our goals is to film and document every show at The Harmonie.

Live performances are temporary.

Once the audience leaves and the stage comes down, the moment is gone.

We want to change that.

By developing our video-production capabilities, every performance can become part of an evolving archive of music in Augusta.

That means documenting:

Touring musicians
Local artists
New performers
Special events
Festivals
Community gatherings
Behind-the-scenes production
The people who make the shows happen

And this connects directly back to Trek Trades.

Apprentices can be the people behind the cameras.

They learn how to shoot multicamera concerts, record audio, edit performances, create promotional material, and tell the stories behind the artists.

The result is both workforce development and cultural preservation.

Years from now, we don't just want to remember that a show happened.

We want to be able to watch it.

Help us build the equipment and production capabilities to document the music happening at The Harmonie.

🎙️ THE HARMONIE PODCAST
What happens when the music stops?

The Harmonie will eventually become home to a weekly podcast exploring the people, music, work, and stories that make Augusta special.

The podcast gives us another way to connect the community to the people passing through our doors.

Musicians.

Artists.

Builders.

Entrepreneurs.

Local characters.

Touring performers.

Apprentices.

People whose stories might otherwise never be heard.

And because the podcast connects to the studio and video-production side of The Harmonie, it becomes another real-world training opportunity for Trek Trades apprentices.

Someone has to:

Set up the microphones.

Run the cameras.

Light the room.

Record the audio.

Edit the episode.

Create the clips.

Publish the show.

That turns a weekly podcast into a weekly opportunity for people to practice tangible creative skills.

The result is a media platform for Augusta—and another living classroom for Trek Trades.

🌳 REVIVING THE GAZEBO
Bringing live music back outside.

The Harmonie shouldn't end at the front door.

One of our goals is to revive the gazebo and bring more activity into the outdoor space surrounding the venue.

Imagine summer evenings where people can gather outside, hear live music, meet friends, and experience Augusta as a community.

The gazebo can become a natural extension of The Harmonie:

small concerts, community gatherings, outdoor performances, seasonal events, and informal moments between neighbors.

It doesn't have to be complicated.

Sometimes the most important thing a community needs is simply a place to gather.

Our goal is to gradually make the outdoor space feel like an extension of the Harmonie experience—giving people another reason to come downtown, stay awhile, and interact with one another.

Your support helps us bring this outdoor space back to life.

🍺 JOIN THE VEREIN
Become part of the Harmonie.

For those who want to go a little deeper, there's the Verein.

The Verein is our community of supporters—and at its heart is the exclusive Stein Club in the Rathskeller.

Membership isn't simply a donation.

It's a way of saying:

“I want to be part of this and want to volunteer my time - not money"

Verein members help provide the financial foundation that allows The Harmonie to continue developing its programs, events, equipment, and spaces.

And in return, members become part of a community built around the Rathskeller, live music, and the future of The Harmonie.

Join the people helping build what comes next.

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT BUILDS

Your contribution doesn't disappear into a general fund.

It helps create tangible things:

A musician gets hired.

An apprentice learns to run sound.

A band records an album.

A concert gets filmed.

A podcast gets produced.

A touring artist gets a place to perform.

A gazebo gets revived.

A room becomes a studio.

A community gathers around live music.

That's what we're building.

THE BIGGER VISION
A creative ecosystem in the heart of Augusta.

We envision a future where The Harmonie connects all of these pieces:
